Deep breath in. Deep breath out. Ok, now I’m good. Hello Internet world and welcome to my very first blog post! Let it be known that this experience is a first for me and is semi terrifying yet, exciting all at once. If you know me on a personal level, you know that I’m more of a private person who keeps to myself. So, the idea of putting my thoughts, experiences, and opinions out there for everyone to judge is a pretty new thing. How does that saying go, “You will never grow if you stay in your comfort zone”? or something like that. Anyways, lets get started.
Recently, I had the privilege of working on an artistic, stylized, bridal photo shoot with one of my all time favorite New Orleans based wedding photographers, Beebe Tran of Studio Tran Photography. We teamed up with Bella Blooms Floral to make creative magic happen. If I’m being honest, initially I assumed we’d just be able to use a few small, elegant, floral arrangements that Bella Blooms had in their facility, but boy was I wrong. Yawl… when I walked onto the set I was absolutely blown away. At no point during the preparation for this shoot did I have any idea that they would design and create such an elaborate, romantic, and elegant display. Instead of me attempting to describe what was made, I’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves.
Before you’re consumed in images of pure bridal perfection, I have to take a moment to recognize and thank everyone involved. Seriously, without such an incredible team of people on board none of this would have been possible. The trendy yet, sophisticated fairy tale like hairstyle was created by the talented April Derokey. The gorgeous bridal gown was from Town and Country. Rilan Percle was my right hand when it came to makeup assistance and Elizabeth Burkhardt Events was incredibly accommodating whenever I needed help putting together the puzzle pieces. Oh! And I can’t forget Courtney Lacoste was our beautiful model.
